1. My son's hair is just like yours. I have curly hair, his sister and their dad. I should have known better….I cut wayyyyyy to much from the front. I lifted it straight up and cut it. I've messed up and I'm afraid to try tobfix the rest of his head to make it even….imbtrying to learn, but layers are best for curly hair? I'm just unsure what I need to do and I hate to ruin his ringlets on the back part and near his little neck 😢

Coming from a stylist you've got the right idea.. 💗 always overdirect the next section (as your moving forward ) back to the previous section… because you've created you're ' traveling guide ' by the first cut you made , then so on. So your next cut you pull the next section back to the section cut and continue all the way to the front. Or just do it your way which obviously works too. I usually round the edges last. 👍🏼
